CODAC Software Development Support Intern. This is what you need to know:
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Contract: 24 week contract, 20 hours p/w
Reporting to: Senior Electrical Engineer
Your role in the mission:
Type One Energy are looking for a part time intern to help assist in CODAC software infrastructure and development processes for our fusion stellarator technologies
Assist in CODAC software infrastructure and development processes, including:
- Proxmox Hypervisor Configuration – Server Deployment, Cluster, Backup, Linux and Windows VM and Linux Docker Deployment
- Network Security
- Software Tools Test and Evaluation – Docker deployed - Build system, Repository, Bug Tracking
- Prototype Software Processes – including requirements life cycle, continuous integration, software versioning, software archiving, software build, bug tracking, and software test
- Assist with documentation for configuration, prototype and process work
- SSL and CA management and configuration
- Password Manager Setup
- Confluence and Jira – documentation and tracking tools
- UML Modeling – for configuration management and process work
- Assist with contracted IT vendor support issues
What you’ll need:
- Currently studying or completed a Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field
- Passionate about Fusion Energy
- Desire to work with a diverse group of Engineers and Scientists.
